Limited Edition Fine Art print of the road to the upper lake, painted on location in Glendalough. Choose from two sizes, framed or unframed. Both print sizes are limited to a run of 50 and come with a certificate of authenticity.

This view was painted plein air on location in Glendalough at the miners village looking back down towards the upper lake with the Glenealo valley behind. The light here is typical of how this beautiful area changes in the winter. Painting here is a special experience and I am always drawn back to this area with its high valley walls and cliffs. I'm especially interested in the huge shadow areas that are cast and created by the landscape here. 

The miners village is just behind where I am standing here and I have a painting of that view here.
